Description

American Eagle Silver Coins are minted by the United States Mint. Launched together with the Gold Eagle in 1986, it is the official U.S. silver bullion coin. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty: Liberty draped in the U.S. flag, right hand outstretched, holding oak and laurel branches in her left hand. The original reverse depicted a family of bald eagles, updated to a new eagle design in 2021. Inscriptions include "Liberty", "In God We Trust", "United States of America" and the $1 face value.
